No warping or splitting in this critical area! Direct drive cross bar, ensures that both sides of the mechanism operate together, in sequence for longer life. Spring system, Heavy 8-gauge sinuous steel springs in the seat provide strength, comfort and flexibility. Springs are inserted into the steel seat box with computer-positioned steel clips. This is the second mattress I bought from Legacy Furniture & Mattress. I love the mattresses. This time it took a while for my mattress to be delivered, but once it was delivered, the delivery service was great and because it had taken so long legacy mattress covered the cost of delivery and removal of my old mattress, which was outstanding.I highly recommend them.
Pricey but I love it!!! I'm using it for my 65" TV and Playstation games are in the drawers.

Beautiful and so comfortable. Haven’t had it long enough to comment on longevity but it is gorgeous and doesn’t scratch from my dogs getting on the furniture. Seems very durable.
